MH17: Preliminary report to ready by next week, says Liow

KUALA LUMPUR: A preliminary investigation report for MH17 should be ready by next week, said Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai (pic).

"‎All preliminary data should be ready by next week and hopefully we can reveal the preliminary study‎," he told a press conference at Wisma Pertahanan Thursday.

Liow said that a preliminary investigation meeting was held with the Dutch investigators.

‎"We have actually conducted a preliminary investigation meeting headed by the Dutch investigators.

“Our Malaysian Department of Civil Aviation participated in the meeting.

"Now we are still collecting more data and wreckage at the crash site but what is important is the data from the black box, so that we can determine how the incident happened," he added.
