MH17 crash: Special Malaysian team dispatched to Kiev, Russian speakers ready


SEPANG: A special team from Malaysia has been dispatched to Kiev, Ukraine, to assist the discovery and identification of victims from the crashed Malaysia Airlines (MAS) flight MH17.

The team, comprising members of the military, forensics police, Department of Civil Aviation, Disaster Assistance and Rescue Team (SMART), Foreign Ministry and the Malaysian Islamic Development Department (Jakim), left Malaysia at 8pm Friday.
