PUTRAJAYA: Two of the judges on the five-man panel hearing the appeal in Altantuya Shaariibuu murder case have questioned the claim by Kpl Sirul Azhar Umar’s lawyer that he has been framed for the killing.
“For what reason and by whom would your client be made a scapegoat?” asked Chief Justice Arifin Zakaria on lawyer Kamarul Hisham Kamaruddin’s theory that the corporal had been framed.
