BANTING: A sailor drowned after he jumped out of a burning ship into the water to save himself at Sungai Langat.
The 33-year-old-man, identified as Abdul Syukur Mohd Nazim, jumped into the river around 10.38pm on Saturday. Firefighters were able to put out the flames and rescue the other crew members on board the ship near Carey Island, but were unable to locate Abdul Syukur.
