MCA ready for Kajang polls, even with EGM

PENGERANG: MCA’s preparations for the Kajang by-election will not be affected if the party was to hold an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) to deliberate on the party rejoining the Cabinet, said party deputy president Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong.

Dr Wee, who did not clearly deny the possibility of the EGM, squashed claims by certain quarters that an EGM held on such a tight schedule before the Kajang polls would affect the party’s preparations.
