Dengue epidemic: Clinics to extend operating hours


PETALING JAYA: To better combat the dengue onslaught, the Health Ministry will be extending the operating hours of clinics across Malaysia, especially in the hotspot areas in the Klang Valley.

The extended hour operation is temporary until the dengue epidemic is over, said the Health Ministry in a statement released on Thursday.

The extended hours are from 8am to the last patient registration at 10pm every day, including public holidays and weekends.

The clinics in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur are Klinik Kesihatan (KK) Anika, Pandamaran, Selayang, Sungai Buloh, Puchong, Shah Alam Sek 7, Kajang, Bandar Baru Bangi, Medan Maju Jaya, Ampang, Putrajaya, Jinjang, Kg Pandan, Petaling Bahagia, Setapai, Cheras, Bukit Kuda, Dengkil, Bandar Botanik, Batu Arang, and Seksyen 19 Shah Alam.
