Love making it the traditional way

GELANG PATAH: It has always been a yearly tradition for Tay Ah Tai’s family to sit together before the charcoal stoves at home to make “love letters” or kuih kapit for Chinese New Year.

The 65-year-old, who learnt the craft from her mother more than 50 years ago, recalled how she and her sisters learnt how to make the traditional treats.
