I have the right to get my Malaysian ID, says teen


KUALA LUMPUR: A 16-year-old boy, who has been listed as a “non-citizen” in the National Registration Department’s records despite having a birth certificate and a passport, is seeking to become a Malaysian.

M. Navin, who is of Malaysian-Filipino parentage, has named NRD director-general, Home Ministry secretary-general and the Government as defendants in his application to the High Court here.
