PETALING JAYA: A bodyguard of the chairman of Kedah's Council of Regency was beaten up at a five-star resort in Phuket in what appeared to be a botched attempt on the royalty.
It is learnt that four assailants attacked the bodyguard thinking he wasTan Sri Tunku Annuar Sultan Badlishah at Patong's Millennium Resort early Thursday.
