Cheques in the net

A TOTAL of 44 fishermen and crewmen affected by the Seri Tanjung Pinang (STP) Phase 2 reclamation project received a total of RM358,500 in ex-gratia payment from Eastern & Oriental Berhad.

The recipients comprising 14 licensed fishermen received RM15,000 each while 17 ‘non-active’ fishermen received RM7,500 each.
