The days when children mistake cell phones for musical playthings or obey rules without questioning are long over. That’s why parenting skills need to change too, according to group co-founder Vincent Cheng, 31, or they’ll be as passé as a pair of bellbottoms.
Cheng, an online marketing specialist, started the group with his significant other, Joanne, in October 2008 after the couple (who, incidentally, met on Friendster and fell in love soon after) found out they were expecting their firstborn, Victoria (now seven months old).
