Khazanah to decide on Bank Muamalat stake sale


KUALA LUMPUR: Sovereign wealth fund Khazanah Nasional Bhd, which holds a 30% stake in Bank Muamalat Malaysia Bhd, is still mulling over the sale of its stake in the Islamic bank, one of two standalone Islamic banks in the country.

The fund’s managing director, Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar, said a decision would be made later on the sale of the stake.
