KLK net profit up on higher dividend income

Revenue was stronger at RM3.538bil, a 21% gain from RM2.924bil in the corresponding quarter a year ago.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the plantation group said its performance during the quarter was due to a higher dividend income of RM53.4mil from an overseas investment, Synthomer Plc, and the release of RM12.6mil on interest income due to a disposal of a subsidiary.
