MITI to provide details of energy efficient vehicle firms in January


KUALA LUMPUR: In the upcoming review of the National Automotive Policy (NAP), the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (Miti) will reveal progress of the programme as well as details of a few companies that have decided to set up facilities for energy efficient vehicles (EEV) here.  

“Next mid-January, I am going to have a stock take on NAP. NAP is one year old and there has been some progress and we will share more details of what has been happening in the next briefing,” International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed said on Tuesday.
