KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI extended its gains at midday on Monday on local fund buying of banks and oil and gas heavyweight SapuraKencana Petroleum, in line with the firm key Asian markets.
At 12.30pm, the KLCI was up 14.29 points or 0.8% to 1,802.60. Turnover was 1.17 billion shares valued at RM923.21mil. There were 589 gainers to 177 losers and 253 counters unchanged.
