UMW Group secures RM200m Myanmar contract


The delivery of the Komatsu equipment is expected to commence from October this year.

KUALA LUMPUR: The UMW Group has secured contracts worth RM200mil to supply more than 60 units of Komatsu equipment in Myanmar.

It said  on Friday that UMW Engineering Services Ltd had bagged the contracts were from its three major customers in Myanmar involved in the jade mining industry in Hpakant 350km north of Mandalay, Myanmar’s second-largest city.
