Weak exports may result in Sept trade deficit for Indonesia


The median estimate of a poll of 10 analysts projected a trade deficit of US$70mil in September for INdonesia compared with a US$130mil surplus the previous month, as the country's exports stayed in the doldrums amid a tentative global recovery - EPA Photo.

 

JAKARTA: Indonesia's trade balance is expected to have swung into deficit in September as softer commodity prices hit exports, while inflation in October may have ticked up due to the rupiah's decline, a Reuters poll showed on Tuesday.
