A close friend of Aliff Aziz is advising the Singaporean actor to face the controversy around him, which has been making headlines for weeks now.

Nick Mikhail Razak, who considers Aliff to be like a brother, took to Instagram to reach out to the 33-year-old actor.

"Be a man and show up. I hope you come forward and resolve this matter. Don't wait until you're 40 to realise this. Be a man!" Nick said in a video he uploaded.

"If you're wrong, admit it. We as men are the captain of the ship. Should we let the ship sink?" he added.

Nick, who is the husband of social media personality King Coco, added that he tried to get in touch with Aliff, but the calls were not answered by the actor.

Nick also mentioned that he does not know Aliff's whereabouts at the moment.

At the same time, Nick believes that it would be better for Aliff to let go of his wife, actress Bella Astillah, if their marriage can no longer be saved.

"If things can't be resolved with Bella, divorce. Be a good parent. Earn money to take care of your children. Don't let people say you can't earn money.

"If you love Sarah, divorce Bella and marry her. Even if your wife is bad, don't cheat. If you're not happy, there's no need to stay in the marriage," he stated.

Last week, a woman by the name of Sarah Yasmine said that she was in a relationship with Aliff.

Nick added that he’s helped Aliff over the years and has supported the actor in his career.

He said he’s sad to see how Aliff's mother and family have become the target of criticism as the issue of the actor's alleged illicit relationships became widely discussed.

"The evidence Sarah has released is already too much. You can't run away. It's sad for Umi (Aliff's mother) and the family to be affected.

"Close your eyes, imagine Umi's face, imagine the children's faces," he advised.

Since last week, the turmoil involving Aliff has continued to heat up when Sarah exposed all his alleged infidelities, including their relationship.

Aliff's problems started on March 9, when he and actress Ruhainies were detained by the Federal Territories Islamic Religious Department (Jawi) at a condominium in Kuala Lumpur on suspicion of khalwat (close proximity).

Bella, 30, filed for divorce soon after the suspected khalwat case came to light. But at the proceeding on April 4, Aliff refused to divorce her.
