Actor and singer Aliff Aziz revealed that his relationship with his wife, Bella Astillah, began to strain in November last year.

The 33-year-old said it started after he saw messages of Bella chatting with actor Muaz Zabir.

"On Nov 13, 2023, something big happened until I was speechless because at that time, I just found out about my wife (cheating).

"That night I couldn't sleep, and when I checked Bella's phone in the chat archive, I was speechless.

"But I consider all of this as a punishment for my past sins," he said.

Aliff revealed this on The Common Folks podcast uploaded on YouTube early Friday morning (May 3).

After knowing about this relationship, Aliff said he tried to change and win Bella's heart once again, but it was all too late.

Things got really bad when, during a heated argument, Bella wanted out of the marriage.

"I tried to treat my wife like a princess, learned to buy flowers, chocolates and followed Bella's hobbies.

"But unfortunately, it was all too late. That one night, we fought, and Bella asked for a divorce in front of the children.

"I told her to file it in court if she was really determined, and Bella did that," he said.

Meanwhile, Aliff said he and Bella have not been in contact for over 40 days after he was caught in close proximity with actress Ruhainies.

The Sayang Sayang singer also said he’s afraid to talk because he doesn't know how to start a conversation.

"The last time I spoke to Bella and the children was probably over 40 days ago.

"There is no communication (between us) anymore, and the number is blocked. I am afraid to hear Bella's voice because it might affect my mental state.

"I'm not running away, but the current situation is very chaotic, and I myself do not know where to start," he said.

On March 13, Bella filed for divorce against Aliff. She did it few days after he was caught in khalwat with actress Ruhainies.

However, during the court proceeding of the divorce on April 4, Aliff had refused to divorce Bella.

The issue became more complicated when allegations surfaced that Bella was cheating by having a relationship with the new actor, Muaz, after intimate photos of them together were leaked.

While not denying the allegations, Bella said that her relationship with Muaz was only to make Aliff jealous and that the matter had been resolved.

The issue heated up when a woman, Sarah Yasmine, claimed to be Aliff's girlfriend since January.

Sarah also revealed various WhatsApp chat screenshots believed to be between Aliff and an individual named 'NRF.'

This revelation angered many as it also implicated several other celebrities such as Emma Maembong, Chacha Maembong, Caprice, Sophia Albarakbah, and Meerqeen.

Ruhainies later openly expressed her intention to meet Sarah and Bella last Friday, but both of them refused to meet her.
