Android users shouldn't trust their device's data backup system to store all their data, according to the German tech magazine c't, which tested Google's solution as well as those from others.
Google's backup solution, built into the operating system starting with Android 6, is a mixed bag, the testers found: It remains quite unclear what is actually secured, and users can't specify a specific backup time.
