Haier launches Android Smart TVs

The Chinese electronics giant launches a new series of Smart TVs running on Android 4.4. 

Like smartphones, no TV released today is simply a passive appliance that does just one thing well – so-called “smart” TVs are now appliances that run a full operating system that connects to the Internet and is capable of installing apps.
