3D videogames may be good for your memory

A boon: A study claims that children with ADHD improved their working memory and levels of attention with half an hour of videogame play a day.

Playing three-dimensional videogames just 30 minutes a day might mean new memories are less likely to fade away, a small US study suggests. 

For two weeks, researchers asked 69 novice gamers to devote a half-hour daily to playing either the two-dimensional Angry Birds game, Super Mario 3D World, or nothing at all. Based on tests taken at the start and end of the experiment, only the 3D players had memory improvements, the study found.
