KUALA LUMPUR: The opening day of the IPC Powerlifting World Cup was filled with joy and tears.

It was a memorable day for China’s Hu Dandan, who rewrote her world record by lifting 106kg in the women’s below 45kg category at the Grand Seasons Hotel on Wednesday.
