Noor Azian fails in bid for top-five finish in Asian meet


KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s medal hopes now rest on the shoulders of the men’s road cyclists after Noor Azian Alias failed in her mission to secure a top-five finish in the women’s competition in the Asian Cycling Championships in Nara, Japan, yesterday.

Noor Azian failed to finish the women’s road race competition yesterday and this could affect her hopes of maintaining her position in the top 100 of the world rankings which could in turn also affect her chances of qualifying for the Beijing Olympics Games in August..
