Rosberg leads Hamilton in first Monza practice

MONZA, Italy (Reuters) - Formula One championship leader Lewis Hamilton, his sights set on a 50th grand prix win, denied Mercedes team mate Nico Rosberg the top spot in Italian Grand Prix practice on Friday.

The Briton, also chasing a hat-trick of wins at the Monza circuit outside Milan, enjoyed a sunny afternoon with a fastest lap of one minute 22.801 seconds on the supersoft tyres after being second to Rosberg in the morning.
