A grand welcome for Super KIP, Malaysia's first Moto3 champ

PETALING JAYA: Khairul Idham Pawi, Malaysia’s first Moto3 winner, was given a hero’s welcome by his fans on his return home after the Grand Prix of the Americas race in Austin, Texas, last Sunday.

The 17-year-old rookie rider came out of the arrival hall at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) in Sepang yesterday to shouts of “Super KIP!”. He was pleasantly surprised with the warm reception given to him.
