Amateur champ Rhaasrikanesh eager to make impact in NZ


PETALING JAYA: K. Rhaasrikanesh is relishing the prospect of rubbing shoulders with the regions’s elite for the first time at the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship (AAC) in New Zealand from Oct 26-29.

Malaysia have been allotted three spots at the Royal Wellington Golf Club with the 16-year-old Rhaasrikanesh making the cut as the Malaysian Amateur Closed champion in May. He will be join by Chan Tuck Soon and Muhd Afif Razif, the country’s top two golfers in the World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR).
