Edrus is SEA sprint king with hat-trick of wins


Muhd Edrus Yunos after winning his third sprint win in the South-East Asian Track Grand Prix at the Cheras Velodrome.

KUALA LUMPUR: It was an emotional day for track cyclist Muhd Edrus Yunos as he completed a hat-trick of sprint wins in the South-East Asian Track Grand Prix at the Cheras Velodrome.

The 25-year-old Edrus, already a gold medallist in the first and second legs on Sunday and Tuesday, beat compatriot Josiah Ng 2-0 in the final on Thursday.
