PETALING JAYA: Independent men’s doubles pair Arif Abdul Latif and Nur Mohd Azriyn Ayub have failed in their bid to reach their career’s first back-to-back finals at the Vietnam Open.
Arif-Azriyn, the Russian Open winners two weeks ago, found former world champions Ko Sung-hyun-Shin Baek-cheol of South Korea too hot to handle as they went down 12-21, 18-21 in the semi-finals in just 27 minutes.
