Swiss Open: Malaysia out of men's singles competition, Aaron-Wooi Yik in doubles quarters


PETALING JAYA: The challenge of Malaysia's men's singles players in the Swiss Open is over with the defeats of Iskandar Zulkarnain Zainuddin and Soong Joo Ven.

Iskandar went down 19-21, 18-21 to Jan O Jorgensen of Denmark in the second round on Thursday (Feb 22) while Joo Ven also suffered a straight game defeat, bowing out 20-22, 14-21 to Suppanyu Avihingsanon of Thailand.
