Expect Japan to have a smashing time in Scotland

KUALA LUMPUR: This could be Japan’s year at the World Badminton Championships in Glasgow, Scotland.

Japan have only won the world title once – through Etsuko Toganoo-Emiko Ueno in the women’s doubles at the inaugural edition in Malmo, Sweden, in 1977.
