Chong Wei out of Denmark Open

ODENSE (Denmark): It is all over for Lee Chong Wei at the Denmark Open.

Chong Wei's misery in the Superseries continued when he was beaten 18-21, 19-21 by Wei Nan of Hong Kong in the second round.

It is his third early defeat for Chong Wei in Superseries since returning from an eight-month doping ban.

He lost in the second round of Japan Open and fell in the opening round of the qualifying tournament in the Korean Open, both last month.

Chong Wei was visibly disappointed with his loss.

"Wei Nan played exceptionally well today. I could not turn the game around," said Chong Wei.

"I do not think this is the end of me. I just need to get the confidence back," added Chong Wei, who will take part in the French Open in Paris next week.
