Carry on diving, you’re forgiven but be more disciplined


I REFER to the report “Truly, deeply sorry” (The Star, June 22). I believe many Malaysians are deeply touched by the remorseful divers who promised never to be involved in similar acts of misconduct again.

Their unfortunate behaviour is understandable and forgiveable as it was Chinese New Year eve and they were having three days off to celebrate the festivities hosted by the local Chinese whom they regarded as their adopted family.
