THE tragic incident on Saturday where three children drowned in a disused bauxite mining pool in Taman Sungai Karang Jaya, Kuantan (pic) has revealed the lack of safety awareness and law enforcement in this country.

It is very unfortunate that innocent lives were lost due to the negligence of various parties including parents, the local community and the authorities.
