Investigate conditions in ICU

I REFER to the fire on Oct 25 at the Hospital Sultanah Aminah (HSA) Johor Baru. I wish to convey my sympathies and condolences to the victims of the fire. A thorough investigation is needed to get to the root cause of the fire.

According to the Fire and Rescue Department, a small fire broke out in the intensive care unit (ICU) of the HSA on Oct 15. Investigation by the department concluded that the fire was caused by a faulty socket which burst into flames in the ICU ward.
