WHEN I was actively involved in the development and promotion of renewable energy such as solar, wind and hydro, I was convinced that one of the most effective ways to do so was to infuse such knowledge into the young.
I strongly advocated that clean or green energy be part of the school curriculum. I didn’t appreciate the response I got from educationists, that there was already an overload in the school curriculum.
