RECENTLY I visited my local government dental clinic about a painless swelling in a section of my upper gums.
The dentist put me on a course of antibiotics and told me to return to get the molar tooth extracted. I reluctantly took the antibiotics. As I did not feel any pain, I did not return to the clinic but resorted to some infrequent saline mouth rinses.
