Be on the lookout for signs of bullying

FOR those of us who have accidentally bitten our tongue, we all know how excruciating the pain is. It is sharp and lingers on long after the bite.

My heart really goes out to the small boy who was forced by a gang of bullies to cut off the tip of his tongue. It is unimaginable and unbelievable that nine-year-olds were involved in this sadistic behaviour.
