Annoyed with A/P on her MyKad

RECENTLY, I went to the bank to make a withdrawal over the counter. When I was given the receipt, I noticed my name had the “A/P” in it, i.e. >FirstName< >MiddleName< >Surname< >A/P< >Dad’sName<.

I was extremely surprised to see this because I only have my first name, middle name and surname printed on my identity card. That was how I registered it, and that’s how it is recorded on my birth certificate too.
