WITH growing urbanisation, affluence and a higher standard of living, the need for a maid becomes an absolute necessity for city households where both the husband and wife work or when there are elderly folks at home.

Many are now facing difficulties in hiring maids as the supply seems to be shrinking. Undoubtedly maids have become somewhat scarce, be it from Indonesia, the Philippines or Cambodia.
