Still pushing for snap polls

Pulling the handbrakes: Dr Wan Azizah (far left) said the PKR supreme council had yet to be convinced of the need for a snap election in Penang. Four PKR seats held by (from second left) Dr Afif Bahardin, Datuk Abdul Malik Kassim, Norlela Ariffin and Maktar Shapee could be in danger.

The lack of consensus over whether Penang should go for an early state election has caused a deep rift in Pakatan Harapan with DAP and PKR leaders sniping at each other.

TWO weeks have gone by since breaking news of a snap election in Penang.
