JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - South Africa's police ministry said on Wednesday that Zimbabwean first lady Grace Mugabe was still in South Africa and had requested diplomatic immunity against accusations she assaulted a 20-year-old model in an upscale Johannesburg hotel.

Grace's lawyers and Zimbabwean diplomats were in discussions with South African authorities that she should be processed in the South African legal system, the ministry said in a statement.
