(Reuters) - A Ukrainian separatist leader said on Monday that the rebel eastern region of Donetsk was asking Moscow to consider its absorbtion into the Russian Federation.
The Ukrainian Prime Minister's office said he had no immediate reaction to the declaration by Denis Pushilin, a leading member of the self-declared "Donetsk People's Republic", at a news conference in Donetsk.
