Taipei: The Executive Yuan’s recent announcement to civil servants nationwide, requesting they conduct themselves with dignity in public and avoid excessive alcohol consumption, has been met with derision by junior civil servants.
Civil servants stated their discontent at what they said was an attempt to take control of their social lives, reported United Evening News, and many have expressed dismay at what they see as their freedom of assembly being curtailed.
