Former telco CEO released on bail Sunday (May 20)


PETALING JAYA: The former telco CEO and local musician who was arrested for allegedly trespassing into his ex-wife's house has been granted bail.

Ampang Jaya district deputy police chief Supt Mohd Zaid Hassan said that the suspect was released on bail on Sunday (May 19).

On May 15, the suspect had a spat with his ex-wife at her house.

It is alleged that he broke down the front door of the house and issued a death threat to her.

The individual reportedly has a history of drug and domestic abuse problems.

It was previously reported that the suspect was arrested between 5.30pm and 7pm on May 16 after he was called in for questioning at the Hulu Kelang police station.

Selangor CID chief Senior Asst Comm Fadzil Ahmat confirmed the arrest was for trespassing.

It was also reported that he was remanded for four days by the police to assist investigations.
