Bosses get fine for failing to report deaths to Socso

JOHOR BARU: Two business owners were fined RM2,500 each by a magistrate’s court for failing to report accidental deaths involving their workers to the Social Security Organisation (Socso).

Redzuan Othman, 36, failed to submit an accident report to Socso after his worker died in 2010, while Mazlan Abu Samah, 45, committed a similar offence in 2017.
