SEREMBAN (Bernama): The Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir has withdrawn his consent which was given earlier to Malaysian Halal Economy and Ummah Entrepreneurship executive director Dr Helmi Ibrahim to organise the Seri Menanti Festival.
According to the Ruler's private secretary, Mohd Nizam Mohd Akhir, Tuanku Muhriz also said that he was not the royal patron of the Seri Menanti Festival and had never appointed any individual or institution to collect donation and sponsorship to organise the programme.
