KUANTAN: Five Islamic non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in Pahang have lodged police reports against social activist Hishamuddin Rais claiming that he had uploaded a seditious article on Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Muhammad V on his blog on Wednesday (June 6).
The NGOs are the Persatuan Kebajikan Islam dan Dakwah Islamiah Malaysia (Pekida) Pahang, Pahang Islamic NGO Secretariat (SNIP), Pahang Al-Quran Volunteer Organisation, the Pahang Malaysian Armed Forces Veterans Association, and Pahang Sunnah Wal Jamaah Organisation (Aswaja).
