PUTRAJAYA: Police are investigating Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s remarks on the Bugis community under the Sedition Act, the Penal Code and the Communications and Multimedia Act, said his legal team.
His lawyer Mohamed Haniff Khatri Abdulla said he would leave it “to the wisdom of the police to decide the basis of their investigation” after they recorded a statement from the former prime minister.
