SPM student drowns in Tawau swimming pool


TAWAU: A Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) student drowned in a swimming pool during a family recreation at a tourism centre in Jalan Bukit Quoin Hill here Sunday.

Police chief  ACP Fadil Marsus said staff at the centre jumped into the pool after being informed that Ashiraf Ayub, 17, had not surfaced since jumping into it.
